About Us

In May 2023, we identified a gap in the market for quality second-hand clothing. A quick phone call between friends led to the formation of The English Disease. Co-founders SD and RB started the business with the vision of catering to football fans, casuals, hooligans, and anyone immersed in the football scene. Inspired by the famous phrase coined by Margaret Thatcher amidst a time of growing rebellion, protests, riots, and fights, we felt it was the perfect name for our brand.

By August 2023, however, we made the difficult decision to close the company due to financial constraints.

And that was it… or so we thought.

In July 2024, The English Disease made a comeback with renewed goals and fresh faces. AL joined SD and RB as a director, while MD came on board as a graphic designer. This time, we were determined to get things right.

What did we do differently?

First, we regained control of our social media, reconnecting with our previous audience. We collaborated with MD to create professional logos and branding. Then, we focused on the website, investing countless hours to make it as user-friendly as possible. All we needed next were the products. We spent hundreds of pounds designing the perfect stickers, using top-quality materials and printers, and launched our sticker collection. Alongside this, we reintroduced our second-hand clothing line, sourcing affordable, well-maintained gear for football fans.

But we weren’t content to stop there.

We analyzed the market and realized that in order to reach a wider audience, a name change was necessary.

In August 2024, we unveiled our new identity: Club Casual. With fresh graphics and an official announcement, we broadened our reach.

But are we satisfied? No. Are we complacent? Absolutely not.

We have a mission, and we intend to see it through. With many more exciting opportunities ahead, we promise that once you remember our name, you’ll never forget it.
